1. What are the standard products manufactured under the brand name BEST-TENT?

Our offer includes a broad selection of permanent (year-round) steel structures (arched halls, both pitched and multi-hipped), modular aluminium halls structures and all kinds of tent hall covering for commercial and warehouse facilities, exhibition halls, event halls, sports halls, carports and canopies, professional horse studs, mushroom farms as well as poultry houses, industrial cowbarns or simple foil tunnels. We also offer a wide range of products connected with the storage of crops, such as halls for bales and other similar products.

2. What are the basic dimensions of tent halls?

BEST-TENT offers a wide range of dimensions tailored to individual needs of our customers. Practically all tent halls can be freely extended with additional sections (modules) and the length of our halls can be adapted to individual needs and purposes. The standard dimensions of our halls are the following: 4 m, 5m ,6 m, 8m, 9m, 10m, 12m, 15m, 18m, 20m, 25m, 30m, 35m and 40m, while the width of the halls corresponds to the multiple of the dimension of the section (module), which depending on the snow and wind loads equal 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0 m, 3.5 m, 4.0m, 4.5 m, 5.0 m and 6.0m.

3. What is the basic equipment of the tent halls?

Except for the correctly constructed steel structure or steel and aluminium structure, the tent halls manufactured under the brand name BEST TENT are supplied along with complete assembly accessories (screws, lines, anchors). The roof and side walls covering is made of high-quality PVC material with the thickness of 650g/m2 (for aluminium and spherical halls) and 900g/m2 (for most steel halls). Additionally, the side walls can be made of trapezoidal sheets or composite panels. Each facility is equipped with one entrance gate and one emergency exit doors. The top sections of the halls have the required ventilation openings guaranteeing appropriate gravity ventilation in the facility. Moreover, the halls may have additional entrance gates, doors, windows, internal covering, thermal insulation or other elements connected with the purpose of the facility.

4. Can the tents be ordered in unusual sizes and shapes?

Yes, because our offer includes multiple solutions and applications for this type of facilities. Having our own construction studio at our disposal, we can change the design and dimensions of the structures in such a way as to adapt the designed facility to customer needs. Each such order is individually consulted with designers, who are responsible for calculations and static properties of the designed facility. When talking to (making arrangements) with the customer, we agree in detail the terms and conditions and technical possibilities of execution of unusual orders as well as the type of required materials and elements of hall covering.

5. How can I order a BEST-TENT hall?

Each quote requires individual valuation and detailed information in order to prepare an adequate order for the customer. We would like to ask all interested persons to contact one of our sales representatives, who will help you to make the right choice and who will prepare a comprehensive offer for you, including – apart from the price – complete technical and commercial data. They will also provide you with information on the forms of financing the purchase, such as lease, credit or standard forms of payment connected with the purchase of a tent hall or another product offered by us. Please contact us directly by phone or e-mail and we will respond to most of your questions.

6. How to choose a tent hall? What hall best serves the purposes of a permanent warehouse, and what a temporary or seasonal facility?

The main question that needs to be answered when choosing a tent hall is its purpose and time (period) of its usage. Talking to our representative will help you to choose a facility that best suits your plans and needs. If you are looking for permanent (year-round) facilities, we offer only BEST-TENT steel halls, because only such a structure will ensure appropriate and full snow and wind load parameters (e.g. 90, 120 or 160 kg/m2 of snow). Each time our products are recalculated in terms of snow and wind loads appropriate for their location. Our halls do not require any actions or maintenance from you (investor) in the winter season (e.g. snow clearing or heating if the snow cover reaches several cm), which is the most important argument for the customer. The best facilities for temporary, seasonal and event purposes are BEST-TENT aluminium halls, which – as a rule – should be utilised only in the summer as warehouses, canopies or temporary commercial facilities. Such structures meet all wind requirements according to the region of a given country and permit very fast assembly and disassembly, which makes them perfect as products for companies dealing with the rental of halls for different outdoor events. Of course, you can find many companies on the market offering such products with huge signs saying 'permanent halls'. But are they really? Usually there is also information in small print that in winter such halls should be heated, snow should be cleared or that they should be disassembled.

7. What is the cost of the tent hall?

The cost of the tent hall is each time individually priced by our Technical and Commercial Department. Some standard halls and solutions can be priced practically in a few minutes, while all non-standard solutions require an individual approach and a separate calculation. Due to differences in snow and wind loads in different countries or regions of Poland, the pricing for a 10x20m hall constructed in Poland will be different for the same facility, e.g. in Norway. The same rule applies also to our country, where a tent hall design for a customer from Warsaw will differ from a tent hall constructed, e.g. in Zakopane. The price is primarily influenced by the main dimensions of the structure, the purpose of the facility, its location and the type of the hall covering (PVC, trapezoidal sheets or composite panels). A 10x20m hall will have a different price than a 20x10m hall, because their structures are completely different, even though in both cases the area is 200 m2.

8. Does the company guarantee supply and assembly? How long can the assembly of a tent hall take?

Yes, our company has qualified fitters and adequate assembly equipment (crane, forklift, lifting cranes) offering the assembly and disassembly of tent halls in all Europe. The delivery and assembly periods are each time agreed with the customer when placing an order, and they are 30 days for standard products and 60 days for halls designed from scratch or when it is necessary to adapt the form to customer needs. The assembly period depends on the hall dimensions, the selected side walls covering and additional equipment. Usually, the assembly of a steel hall up to 1,000 m2 takes ca. 6-7 working days, while aluminium halls can be assembled much faster, i.e. in 2-3 days.

9. How to prepare the ground for the assembly of the hall?

The ground should be stable and hardened, if possible. Small ground irregularities not exceeding a 5% slope are permitted. On concrete surfaces (e.g. yards hardened with concrete backfill or foundation footings) we use chemical expansion anchors, and in most other cases we use long ribbed bar anchors driven into an already prepared hardened yard.

10. Is a construction permit necessary to construct a tent hall?

Yes, each construction facility or structure requires a construction permit. Many companies offering this type of products say that the construction permit is not necessary, but it is not true. No matter if a tent hall is intended to be a warehouse, farming hall or an ice rink, such a facility requires all necessary permits and technical acceptance. Running even a small business or agricultural activity, one has to take into account the consequences of inspections carried out by constructions supervision authorities, Sanepid (State Sanitary Inspectorate), H&S or fire safety authorities, which verify compliance with law and if the facility is adapted to its purpose. The only solution permitting to construct a tent hall (regardless of its purpose) in a legal and fast way is to inform an appropriate District Administration, Department of Architecture, about the intent to construct such a structure. After 30 days (if the authorities do not oppose to it), the facility can be legally constructed and used for 120 days. This time is usually sufficient for the architect to prepare full documentation necessary to obtain the construction permit in connection with the planned purpose of the facility.

11. Are the tent halls covered by a warranty?

Yes, the standard warranty period for our products is 2 years from the acceptance for use, however, it can be extended for the period of 3.5 years when signing the contract if a provision on periodic servicing and technical reviews of the facility by our company is included in it.

12. Is the lifetime of the tent halls limited?

The lifetime of the tent halls produced by us – similar to all other products – depends on their correct use, periodic reviews and maintenance. We guarantee that our load-bearing structures, trapezoidal sheets and composite panels will maintain their parameters for at least 30 years, while the external PVC covering can be used for 10-15 years.
