BEST-POL S.A. produces steel structures for tent, warehouse and production halls. These steel structures were designed in accordance with Eurocodes, in compliance with PN-EN 1990 and PN-EN 1991 standards. The hall structure design is composed of a technical description (including statistical calculations) and a set of the hall's structural drawings including the foundation.
The company implemented a certified welding quality management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO 3834-2 (TÜV Rh 01 202 PL/A-14 0870), a certified system of Factory Production Control in accordance with EN 1090-1 (TÜV Rh 0035-CPR-1090-1.00636-TÜVRh.2014.001) and a welding certificate compliant with EN 1090-2 (TÜVRh-EN1090-2.00592.2014.001). These certificates permit the company to use CE marking on the steel structures and issue European Declarations of Conformity.
We have our own design and construction department and graphic design department at our disposal. We use the most advanced programs for designing 3D steel structures. Our management staff, engineers and steel structural fitters are very experienced. Thanks to an efficient organization of the construction process, we can meet even the most demanding needs of each customer.

We use the most modern designing programs available on the market, i.e. Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2015 and SolidWorks Professional 2015.
We provide 4 copies of the structural design with each ordered tent hall. Of course, it is signed by authorized engineers, i.e. the designer and the reviewer. Certificates of professional qualifications and the certificate of membership in the Chamber of Civil Engineers are attached to the steel structure design. In consideration of the requirements and the comfort of work of our customers, we also provide them with the electronic version of the documentation (PDF and DWG files).

Our steel structures are made taking into account the standards of snow and wind loads for separate climate zones. A steel structure design offered to the customer is the essential part of the construction design, based on which the construction permit can be obtained by a local architect (studio) providing this kind of services.

Lightweight structures of both steel and aluminium halls are facilities that are relatively easy to maintain. However, one cannot forget about several fundamental principles permitting to maximally extend the lifetime of the structure and ensure its safe use:

  1. Wind bracing should be controlled on an ongoing basis. Too low wind bracing will reduce the stability of the structure. When the wind is stronger, the structure can start moving, which may loosen the joints and weaken the whole structure. Excessive line tension should also be avoided, because it may result in high internal stresses of the facility affecting its durability.
  2. In winter, the snow layer on the roof should be monitored. The snow layer may have various forms, from fluffy snow to icy cover. As presented above, the weight of icy snow cover may in extreme cases reach even 800 kg/m3! Depending on the designed snow resistance, the maintenance of the hall may vary. For low snow resistance, snow clearing from the roof after an intensive snowfall is necessary. For full resistance, snow clearing from the roof is necessary only in exceptional cases. Summing up, the higher the snow resistance of the hall, the more can the investor be sure that nothing unexpected will happen. For this reason, we always encourage our customers to buy halls with full snow resistance, which in fact are the most popular ones, as this factor is one of the most important ones. Such a solution offers you additional possibilities – if you decide to buy a hall covered with tarpaulin or trapezoidal sheets, in the future it can be converted it into a thermally insulated facility covered with composite panels, without the necessity to change the load-bearing structure of the hall.
